Administrator Track: Instructional Leadership for Professional Learning
The session presents the key ingredients of instructional leadership, job-embedded professional development and ambitious teaching. Participants will examine their own observations of highly effective teaching and then examine the use of protocols and facilitating the routine of team lesson planning. The session will focus on what “ambitious teaching” is for an early childhood program and the role an effective instructional leader has in continuous learning and improvement through routines of collaboration.
